Epiphany Explorers Reservation Information

Thank you for coming Friday evening and fleshing out the calendar for 2009-2010.  We need to make these kind of decisions and book early in order to get cabins and camp sites in the popular facilities.

We had to switch the Ft. Clinch State Park trip scheduled for October with the Mike Roess Goldhead Branch State Park trip scheduled in January.  Ft. Clinch was already booked into early 2010.  Goldhead Branch still has cabins available in October.  If you are planning on camping at Ft. Clinch you need to make reservations in the next few days.   (See the bottom the page for reservation information.)

Here is the proposed schedule and what you need to do to secure a spot for your family.

September 25-26  Blue Springs
No need to make reservations.  Campsites  are always available.  No pets are allowed in the park.  Cash only.  Lyon family will probably camp both nights.  We will have our boats there. 

October 16-17  Mike Roess Goldhead Branch State Park
Make cabin reservations immediately!!

Lyon family has reserved Cabin 11 for both Friday and Saturday night as a “Camp Headquarters”.  There are several other cabins still available.  Make your reservations ASAP.  Camp sites in the Lakeside Camping area are very convenient to the cabins if you prefer to bring a camper or a tent.  There are usually plenty of campsites so we have not made reservations.  Lyon family will also bring their camper and can bring tents.

November 6-7 Hiking in the Osceola National Forest
Camping will be available at the Ocean Pond Campground.  It is first come, first served.  You cannot make reservations. Lyon family will go out Friday morning to hold sites.  Let  us know if you will be camping so we know how many sites to hold.

January 15-16 Ft. Clinch State Park 
Make reservations immediately!!

Campsites are going fast.  Lyon family has reserved site 28 for their camper and site 24 for a large tent.  There are no cabins.  You can make motel reservations in Fernandina Beach and join us for the day in the park.

March 5-6 Suwannee River Wilderness Trail
Paul Mehalko will make arrangements for us to camp at the Boys Ranch.

April  Caruth Camp
