A Note To Parents

Thank you for your interest in the Epiphany Catholic School Explorers Club.

We expect this club to provide an opportunity for Epiphany School families to share the joys of the outdoors with their children and other families.  This is not a formally structured club with officers, bylaws, dues, or minutes.  It is not a club just for the kids.  It is a loose framework to assist families to get together for group outdoor activities.

The monthly after school sessions will be used to teach some basic outdoor skills to the kids.  Any parent with a skill or interest they would like to share is encouraged to do so at these sessions.  If your child misses the after school session, due to illness, sports, dance, or whatever, you family is still encouraged to attend the family activities.

As facilitators, we have planned a few initial activities in order to get the ball rolling.  We expect other members to suggest or arrange other outings to share their interests and introduce the members to new experiences.  Without the involvement of you, the parents, the kids will not have what we believe are valuable, fun, and character building wilderness experiences.

We have a web site established to help spread information within the club.  Please visit www.otariinae.net/Explorers to keep up on the latest information and plans.

Please contact us by phone or email, or visit with us at these first activities, to discuss what you can do to make this endeavor a success.

Thank you for you participation.
